In the past, I usually searched with the words "White Pages." Then I'd input the name of the person I was searching for and it would find the person. However, if I wanted to look at any information about the person, I'd end up having to pay something like $30-$50 just to look at the information. That is no fun and usually discourages me from continuing to look for that person.

Recently, I returned to my search page (on Google, Yahoo, or MSN...depending on what I was doing at the time) and continued to look at other sites to see if I could find something a little less expensive or time consuming.

One site I found, using the term "free people search engine" yielded great results. I found Acme People Search. I put in my old friend's name and found her. The one thing that is different, you do NOT have to pay $30 or more to find the information on her. The only thing I had to do to unlock her information was to sign up for Reunion.com -- and that is something you should sign up with anyways because, at least for me, my high school class reunion is less than a year away. Then the information about my friend came up. Speaking of which, if my friend is out there -- Dawn N in OR -- I miss you!

Anyways, Acme People Search was the one I used to find her. It was one of several free people search engines I looked at and was the best one. There's also a hidden surprise I found out about the free people search engine I used -- stay tuned...I will talk about that part next time.
